    Description

A vintage 1976 first edition copy of "The Schools that Fear Built: Segregationist Academies in the South" by David Nevin and Robert E. Bills. This looks at the spread of private, many times religious, schools that are essentially segregated as part of "white flight." About 6" x 9.5", hardcover with dust jacket, 186 pages.
Very good condition with some scuffing and small tears to the dust jacket as shown, and old owner's address label inside. A good, useful, bright copy.
A superb and valuable addition to any library. Media mail shipping. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be. I always combine shipping and will refund back any overage when you buy multiple items. Please see the
    Civil Rights
section and the rest of my store for more museum quality artifacts.
