  • Condition: These original 1961 lobby cards are in decent condition with some edge and handling wear, some edge and corner dings and bends, multiple tack holes at all 4 corner areas and side borders, some border fading, some smudges on the left side borders. In addition, card #6 has stains on the right side border, and card #8 has paper loss from a tack pull. Overall, these lobby cards are very nice with wonderful images and graphics and bright vibrant colors

    These are original, theater issued lobby cards, 11" x 14", for the 1961 John Wayne western "The Comancheros." These 4 lobby cards were part of an 8 card set, issued to the theaters in 1961 for display during the showing of the film. This sale is for lobby cards #2, #4, #6 and #8, as seen in the pictures. These original 1961 lobby cards are in decent condition with some edge and handling wear, some edge and corner dings and bends, multiple tack holes at all 4 corner areas and side borders, some border fading, some smudges on the left side borders. In addition, card #6 has stains on the right side border, and card #8 has paper loss from a tack pull. Overall, these lobby cards are very nice with wonderful images and graphics and bright vibrant colors. I would grade these cards a 3/4, on a 1 to 10 scale (with 10 being in mint condition). We have included a lot of pictures, so you can see the conditions for yourself. These lobby cards will be shipped flat and secured between heavy cardboard for protection.
