These three ORIGINAL lobby cards were designed and printed to promote the first theatrical release of the 1964 drama/western/crime feature THE OUTRAGE, starring
Paul Newman, Claire Bloom, and Laurence Harvey

The film depicts the aftermath of a possible murder and rape, and how it appears quite different depending on who is telling what occurred.  The film is a loose remake of Akira Kurosawa's classic Japanese film, RASHOMON.
The three lobby cards are ORIGINAL lobby cards. They are not reprints, reproductions, re-issues, or commercial items available to the general public.  They were created to be displayed in the movie theater lobby to publicize the film.

CONDITION SPECIFICS:
The three lobby cards are theater used, but in very good condition.  Card #1 has a light rating stamp at the lower, left corner, and has the card caption below the graphics crossed off with a green marker.  Card #4 has about 20 minute pin holes.  Card #5 is in outstanding condition.  Two of the cards have collectors stamps on verso, which do NOT affect the front.  The main graphic images are in excellent condition.  There are no other tears, fading, stains, smudges, folds, tape, or pin holes.
