VTG CROWN TRIFARI BRUSHED GOLD SET: NECKLACE BRACELET CLIP ON EARRINGS

Description

Elegant Crown Trifari Brushed Gold Parure in a fluid leaf design.  Delicate etched leaves cascade seamlessly around the neck and wrists and drop in articulated clusters from the ears.  Leaves are outlined in gleaming gold while the finely etched interiors appear matte, creating a rich play of light and texture.  All links are slightly domed and curved, creating a .25” depth to all pieces. The right and left mirror image earrings are subtly shaped to follow the contours of the face.  The 5/8” wide necklace is adjustable from 15” to 16” by means of an extra 1” link with its own fold-over clasp.  The 7/8” wide x 7” long bracelet features a hidden box clasp integrated into the overall design and a safety chain with a spring ring clasp  The beautifully designed clip earrings measure 2-3/7” long and are 7/8” wide at the widest point.
All pieces are marked Trifari with a crown over the T and a copyright mark which dates them to sometime between 1955 and 1969.  From the design I would think mid 60’s.  A sophisticated, exceptionally well-made set in superb vintage condition, with just the tiniest bit of wear visible on the inside of the back of the clips and viewable on the tip of the bracelet clasp with the aid of a loupe.
